Scarlett this month channeled Silent Classic Hollywood for W magazine and she is completely unrecognizable. From Marlene Dietrich, to Italian actress Giuletta Masina (the "female Chaplin"), to silent clown Buster Keaton and finally culminating with French actress Sarah Bernhardt. She proves to be a better actress than I thought, encapsulating their looks, facial expressions and body language. Nice to see Miss Scarlett distancing herself from her sex symbol image for once and proving she's not just a pretty face with a set of big breasts. I'm so in awe at the Marlene Dietrich photo -- she captures the German femme fatale to a tee.

L.A. DAZE
Stone_Cold_Fox
Wish I could afford their clothing, especially the ornately detailed backless dresses and the patterned 70s flare bottoms. The collection has a very Saint-Tropez-ish quality to it. Available at Planet Blue now.
The Venice canals are perfect for this shoot. Totally ascribe the LA daze.
