IT

I watched "IT" last night, an old silent film from 1927 starring Clara Bow. I was amazed to see how modern it is; by the end of the feature, I didn't even remember I was watching a complete non-talkie! The beginning of the romantic comedy is what I saw in the film and what's really incredible is the birth of the it-girl, Clara Bow. She was one of the first sex symbols, an extreme flapper who appealed to the low class (since those were her roots). She was the original party girl, exposing stories about her sex life and bordering pure nymphomania (she supposedly banged the whole USC football team at the time). "It" was an absolutely fantastic film and for any girl who seeks to evoke that certain je ne sais quoi, I highly suggest the film. Bow is incredibly charismatic and the story is sweet, entertaining and pure hilarity. Even the style (totally passé) is still appealing. This film served to define a new term: the it factor, which by today's standards is still very relevant in our society. I'm the biggest romantic so it's no surprise that this love story comedy stole my heart. Nonetheless, it remains the most memorable silent social satire I have ever watched.

Brit's look for Hold It Against Me!

Britney Spears has revealed a look from her new video for her single Hold It Against Me. A red and pink dress with a long train and big shoulders.

Guess Channels BB

Kate Upton: Guess S/S '11 Advertising Campaign

Guess is not forgoing its bombshell ways. This campaign made me want to look up their website on the dot and buy the adorable knitwear and polkadot capris (although I checked and none of this is in yet). Beach minis and crochet crop tops, not to mention the teased 60s haircut: can anyone say Brigitte Bardot? And Kate Upton imitates a vivacious Bardot.

Emma Stone Wows

I fell in love with this dress by Armani. It fits Emma Stone like a glove. Sleek and modern, it also carries out the blush color trend that we've seen all night -- I love this peachy delight. I also think backless dresses are the sexiest. Not to mention, she looks gorgeous in her bleach blonde locks. I give her an Easy A.

Anne Hathaway Shines

Anne Hathaway looked beautiful in this Armani Prive dress and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels. Again the sequins just scream star -- and she really looked like one in this golden gown. Armani dressed a lot of fashion stunners tonight and this is one of my faves.

A Hot January

January Jones looks SMOKING HOT in this Versace gown. I absolutely love it. Another best of the night The floor length fringe is hard to pull of but she gets MAJOR credit for wearing this. The cut-outs the simplicity but yet extravagance of it, it's just perfect.

Angelina Jolie - The Emerald Queen

This is it. This is probably my favorite dress at the Golden Globes. Angelina is so regal in this Versace emerald green jeweled gown. She looks like a beautiful mermaid -- the color is fabulous and just shines. A popular color for the night but she just did it best.

Old Hollywood Scarlett

Scarlett Johanssen looks better than ever! She channeled old Hollywood glamour and is perfection. Love the butterfly wing sleeves and the beautiful beading on the nude frock. Even the hair and jewels are just perfectly styled. Bellisima!

Natalie Portman Blushes

Natalie Portman wore a fabulous Victor & Rolf dress that was the perfect shade of blush pink. The dazzling red rose detail on the bustline is fun and quirky but absolutely the perfect topper. This is THE PERFECT dress to win the globe for Black Swan in. Another fave!!!

Wild For Olivia Wilde

One of my favorite dresses so far at the Golden Globes -- this Marchesa ball gown that Olivia Wilde is donning. It's FAN-TAS-TIC. I loved the straight cut hair with the bang -- very modern accent to a very traditional shaped evening dress. And the glitter, SO GORGEOUS. The way the gold glitter cascades into black tulle is just so lovely.

The Genius that is Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton S/S '11 Ad Campaign

Not only did Louis V not shy away from color for this upcoming season, but it took on very art deco pieces and shapes meshing with an Eastern influence. It screams fun and dazzle. I love the flapper-esque long dress that cascades in different colors -- my fave!

Make the luscious red lip a part of your look -- the perfect finishing touch. Can you say "glamoure"?
