Lingerie outside of the bedroom is the best thing to happen since visible bra straps became acceptable (but no the VPL, visible pantie line, will NEVER be acceptable). Lingerie as outerwear is so Jean Harlow-esque, very Moulin Rouge, very Madonna.

As long as it's not worn a la trashy like Taylor Momsen, make use of the trend to spotlight your inner sex symbol.
